Join me for a 3 hour info-packed cooking workshop combining the ‘best-of’ my popular Nelson workshops. I will be sharing the ‘Kitchen Essentials’ I make regularly for my family to keep us healthy and save money. Including my simple overnight bread [gluten-free option] / omega boost muesli / herb pesto / and of-course there will be chocolate involved & more.
This workshop is much more than just a cooking class, I also interweave my knowledge of wholefood nutrition [dip. Natural Nutrition] and share the key aspects I use to ‘health-ify’ the food I eat and feed to my family. Including:
+ discussions on stocking the pantry with nutrient-rich staples [+ a pantry list & suppliers info]
+ healthy fats in the kitchen
+ optimising digestion & nutrient absorption with proper preparation of grains, nuts and seeds
+ how to adapt recipes to reduce sugar and boost nutrition in baking
+ allergy food substitutes
+ your burning food / nutrition questions answered
++ delicious food samples on the day & recipe folder to take home.
This is a demonstration style workshop, however, there will be plenty of food interaction and sampling. I have kept the numbers as low as possible so everyone can get their questions answered and experience the food / cooking. During the afternoon there will opportunities to sample the recipes prepared and of-course meet other wholesome food lovers.
